These parks are known for their large herds of red elephants, including several impressive “big tuskers.” The landscapes are dramatic and diverse, and wildlife such as giraffes, buffalos, and big cats add to the photo safari experience.

Other animals frequent the water points and marshes to drink, and mud- bathe for cover against the hot sun and parasites.
The predators lay ambush around such water points. Early morning and evening drives can be more promising.
