This is a classic “rare species” photo safari to the wildlife rich Laikipia Wildlife Conservancies, home to the world famous black leopard named “Giza” and packs of the African Hunting dogs.

Other animals seen here include the Zebras, (including the rare Grevy,s Zebras) Reticulated Giraffes, Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants, Antelopes and more.

Giza got an established territory, making it possible to find and observe her go about her routine.

On a lucky day, you can even witness some action, including a hunt.

The hunting dogs are very mobile, covering long distances in between conservancies and reserves. However with help and guidance from the resident guides, chances of a sighting are high.

Later drive to the mountains of the Aberdares National Park. This is also a home to the Black leopard, the Black Serval and the Hunting Dogs. The Melanistic Serval is a common sighting in the Aberdares. These cats frequents same locations occasionally. Chances of a sighting are high.
